Tony Le Tigre - Kill Yourself EP: bringing the soulful East Coast to the East Midlands

A key member of Leicester's alternative hip-hop crew Mud, Northampton-born producer and MC Tony Le Tigre dropped his delirious Kill Yourself Or Die Trying EP this week, six tracks of pure neo soul simmering away at that point of utter deliciousness. Reminiscent of the Dilla glory days, Tigre's jazz, soul and RnB infused beat are smooooth, providing the top quality soundtrack to a hazy Sunday afternoon.

Despite having a credible flow himself, the 23 year old bedroom producer has invited rappers from all over the area to join in with his summer bliss: Peterborough's awesome lyricist Mixy, talented electro producer and fellow Mud/Dub Vandal member Harri Gee and the outstanding Jaws (one third of Burton-based, critically adored Great Scott trio). So sit back and indulge your ears into the gorgeously dope sounds of Tony Le Tigre.
