So maybe in hindsight it was a little rash to announce Primer as my favourite new local producer of the year as early as April, however doubting that anyone's going to discover the next Aphex Twin between October and Christmas I can now safely say: Primer is officially my favourite new Northants producer of 2012! Not only that but the insanely weighty dubstepper has landed himself a spot on Radio 1, bringing deep wobbles and distortions to the Huw Stephens Show with his dancefloor anthem Dawn Skyline.
