Tribute to Adam Yauch: celebrating MCA's revolutionary 30 year career

By now you've probably heard of the tragic passing of Adam Yauch after he lost his battle with cancer aged only 47. He, Mike D and Ad-Rock were arguably the most monumental hip-hop pioneers of all time as The Beastie Boys, achieving six multi-platinum selling albums in the US and selling 40 million records worldwide. In April this year they became only the third rap crew to be inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame. I don't know if The Beastie Boys will continue without him and, at the moment, I don't care either. This is just an opportunity to remember a man who spent his life doing what he loved best and shaping the face of hip-hop, punk and music in general for decades to come.
