Radio 1 playlisting, massive support from Fearne Cotton, literally on the verge
of a major radio breakthrough, no one in the county makes melodic tunes as
good as Billy Lockett. With his flawless guitar and piano playing, beautiful vocals and trademark leather jacket, Lockett and his sesssion guitarist Dan Blackwell have teamed up with one-third of the awesome hip-hop trio Council Kids Dizzy "Dizmack" Mackintosh for his latest monthly Cellar Session. It's a smooth and soulful collaboration influenced by the rap-rock cross pollinations of BBC Introducing in Northampton (the results of which can be heard here) from two incredible young men tipped to make waves in the coming months.
