Rewind your mind back four years to 2008 and you might remember that one of the bands doing Northamptonshire proud was the soothing, surging, shoegazing but also massively punky My First Radio. Fastforwarding through the Mogwai and Bloc Party comparisons, Guardian and Drowned In Sound support and God Is In The Radio releases, the atmospheric four piece are still blowing minds with their new single Only Ever Silence. Very much towards the anthemic end of their spectrum, it's got that trademark My First Radio eruption that screams "bring on the summer" from every angle. Seven years since they formed, how are this band still sounding as fresh as ever?
