BBC Introducing in Northampton Tracklist: 30.3.12

A Buzz special; celebrating the 17th anniversary of our renowned evening full of the best bands and DJs anywhere in the Midlands. Andy Crofts from The Moons and got-to-work-with-Paul-Weller-you-luck-so-and-so gets all nostalgic with Natasha about "the good old days" of Northampton music. There's also interviews with An Army Of Lights and Code500 along with new stuff from Anguish Sandwich, The Casual T's and Bad News Bears.

The Bad News Bears - Bad Things/Good Reasons

The Casual T's - Contra Trails

Anguish Sandwich - Idiot C (from the Bermuda Triangle EP out 14th May)

An Army Of Lights live in the studio ahead of their gig at The Labour Club with The Casual T's. They reveal an upcoming music video for Sirens which will apparently be about the London Riots (video off: AAOL vs Plan B, who's your winner?). They also dance - a lot.

Lal interviews Code500 about their brand new Red Flag EP, gigging around the UK and how they go about making such amazing electro music.

Code500 - Telepathy (finally a song from the EP that they've actually decided to post online)

The Buzz take over! This legendary Northamptonshire club night will return on Saturday 30th for its whopping 17th anniversary, bringing their funky soul, mod, rock 'n' roll, ska, britpop punk and garage grooves to BBC Radio Northampton. There's a dance off live in the studio (cos that really works on radio!) but I can tell you: you wouldn't have believed some of the hip busting that I was pulling. MAKE SURE YOU DOWN THERE GUYS!!!
