The Northampton Greyfriars Bus Station has been voted one of the most miserable places in the UK and I do think it might be the most miserable place in the county (well if you don't include my bedroom that is). So I think it's great news that the council is gonna pull the blooming thing down. What I don't get is why they want to use the Fishmarket Art Gallery to relocate it. Pretty much everyone in Northampton loves the place and it's the one and only place to be for Northampton art; whether that be paintings, sculptures, music, dance, drama whatever. Over the next three posts I'll be looking at why we need to keep it up and running. Reason 1: the art is superb.
